MANAGER – TRADE FINANCE / OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT

Responsibilities

  • Authorizing daily SWIFT messages
  • Checking and approving daily transactions within the CBS limit.
  • Checking daily staff journal reports and CBS reports.
  • Checking daily SWIFT incoming and out-going messages reports.
  • Approving SWIFT payment tracker updates.
  • Managing Alerts in Transaction Sanctions Screening Portal at L1 Level and L2 Level.
  • Attending to Accuity report requests received from other departments.
  • Preparing reports and data for requests received from regulatory bodies through Legal/RMCD.
  • Ensuring regulatory reports are uploaded on time.
  • Reporting SARs to compliance unit – RMCD.
  • Preparing daily transactions figures for FAD.
  • Responding to Correspondent Bank Compliance letters and queries.
  • Checking and verifying IR & TT supporting documents.
  • Coordinating with outstation branches and Credit Admin in receiving / completing trade and remittance requests.
  • Following up on trade and remittance cases and ensuring the LC transactions are processed within given TAT.
  • Scrutinizing LC documents exceeding Assistant Manager limit.
  • Following up on documentary payment maturity dates and ensuring payment on maturity / sight.
  • Preparing figures and reports for customer balance confirmation requests and customer account performance requests.
  • Ensuring trade and remittance transaction data are maintained and updated daily.
  • Conducting UAT relating to trade finance unit.
  • Ensuring requisitions, CR form and other requests are completed in a timely manner
  • Informing the Unit Head / Head of Department on any fake or suspicious transactions or any transaction related to Money Laundering.
  • Ensuring customer queries received through emails, phone and tickets raised by customer services are attended promptly by subordinates.
  • Making concentrated effort to solve customer problems.
  • Ensuring document scanning and archiving are up to date.
  • Making sure that all the transactions relating to Trade Finance are always balanced against the accounting system.
  • Any other tasks assigned by Head of Trade Finance.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in related field with minimum 02 years of work experience in a similar field OR,
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field with minimum 03 years of work experience in a similar field
  • Proficiency in MS office suite of applications
  • Fluency in Oral and Written Communication
  • Documents required:
